यदा ते मोहकलिलं बुद्धिर्व्यतितरिष्यति ।

तदा गन्तासि निर्वेदं श्रोतव्यस्य श्रुतस्य च ॥ 766

 

Yada te mohakalilam buddhirvyatirishyati ।

Tada gantasi nirvedam shrotavyaysya shrutasya cha ॥

 

When your intellect crosses over delusion, you become

dispassionate  towards what is heard and what is yet to be heard.

संगमविरहविकल्पे वरमिह विरहो न संगमस् तस्या: ।

संगे सैव तथैका त्रिभुवनमपि तन्मयं विरहे ॥ 767

 

sangamavirahavikalpe varamiha viraho na sangamas tasya: ।
sange saiva tathaikā tribhuvanamapi tanmayam virahe ॥ 

 

It is logic that says more blessings flow when we are apart. For when she is here, she is but one. When she is away, I see her in all the things in the world.

 

आज्ञाभङ्गो  नरेन्द्राणां  वृत्तिच्छेदोऽनुजीविनाम् ।

पृथक् शय्या च नारीणामशस्त्रो वध उच्यते ॥ 768 

  

Ajnabhango narendranam vruttichchedo anujivinam ।

Pruthak shayya cha narinamashastro vadha uchyate ॥

 

For kings, disobedience of orders, for servants, loss of job,

For women, separate sleeping place are like being killed without weapons.

 

यावद्बद्धो मरुद देहे यावच्चित्तं निराकुलम् ।

यावद्दृष्टिर्भ्रुवोर्मध्ये तावत्कालभयं कुतः ॥ 769

 

Yavadbaddho maruda dehe yavachchittam nirakulam ।

Yavaddrushtirbhruvomadhye tavatkalabhayam kutah ॥

 

So long as the breath is restrained in the body, so long as the mind is undisturbed, So long as the gaze is fixed between the eyebrows, where is the fear of death?

 

सर्वथा  प्रातरुत्थाय  पुरुषेण सुचेतसा ।

कुशालाकुशालं स्वस्य चिन्तनीयं विशेषतः ॥ 770

 

Sarvatha prataruththaya purushena suchetasa ।

Kushalakushalam svasya chintaniyam visheshatah ॥

 

A man getting up in the morning should always give a serious

thought to what will be good and what will be bad for him.
