Among all types of cleanliness, financial cleanliness is the best.

One who is financially clean is cleanest, not who cleans using mud and water.

Education, physique, speech, dress and grandeur

are the five things that make a person respectable.

Papam prajna nashayati kriyamanam punah punah l

Nashtaprajnah papameva nityamarabhate narah ll

A sin ruins the senses of the person committing it.

Man having lost his senses keeps committing sins everyday.

Shunah puchchhamiva vyartham jeevitam vidyaya vina l

Life of a person devoid of education is as useless as the tail of a dog.

It does not cover its backside and is incapable of protecting from insect bites.

Anadaro vilambashcha vaimukhyam nishturam vachah l

Pashchatapashcha panchaani danasya dooshanaani cha ll

Disrespect, delay, averting the face, harsh and bitter speech

and regret after giving – these five are the defects of charity.
