Having wandered all over the world, I could
not find that place
where one could find a brother, mother or
father.

Evil thoughts in the mind of a wicked
person cannot be washed away even with a hundred baths in pilgrimage centres, just as
liquor in a pot cannot be purified by heating it.
न हीदृशं

One cannot find better
qualities in three worlds than these -
compassion,
friendship, charity towards all and sweet words.

Fragrance in flowers, oil in sesame seeds,
fire in wood, ghee in milk,
jaggery in sugarcane are all qualities to
perceive like wisdom in the human body.
भार्यावियोगः सुजनापवादः
ऋणस्य शेषं कृपणस्य सेवा ।
दारिद्र्यकाले

Bharyaviyogah sujanapavadah runasya shesham

Daridryakale priyadarshanam cha vinagnina
