लोके कुलं कुलं तावद्यावत्पूर्वसमन्वयः ।

गुणप्रभावे विच्छिन्ने समाप्तं सकलं कुलम् ॥ २७६

Loke kulam kulam tavadyavatpurvasamanvayah ।

Gunaprabhave vichchinne samaptam sakalam kulam ॥

In this world a family is a family as long as there is compatibility with ancestors.

When the influence of values is lost, the family comes to nought.

न जायते कर्मगतिः कदा किं वा भविश्यति ।

मूषकः प्राप्यते यद्वत् पर्वतस्य विदारणात् ॥ २७७

Na jayate karmagatih kada kim va bhavishyati ।

Mushakah prapyate yadvat parvatasya vidaranat ॥

One cannot know when and what will come out of one’s efforts.

When one moves mountains what one gets may be just a mouse.

द्विषद्भिः शत्रुभिः कश्चित्कदाचित्पीड्यते न वा ।

इन्द्रियैर्बाध्यते सर्वः सर्वत्र च सदैव च ॥ २७८

Dvishadbhih shatrubhih kashcitkadachitpidyate na va ।

Indriyairbadhyate sarvah sarvatra cha sadaiva cha ॥

People may or may not be tormented some time or other by haters & enemies.

All are tormented all the time by their own senses.

दुर्लभान्यपि कार्याणि सिध्यन्ति प्रोद्यमेन हि ।

शिलाऽपि तनुतां याति प्रपातेनार्णसो मुहुः ॥ २७९

Durlabhanyapi karyani sidhyanti prodyamena hi ।

Shila api tanutam yati prapatenarnaso muhuh ॥

Even very difficult tasks are achieved by intense unending effort.

Even a rock gets worn out by repeated falling of water drops on it.

यत्र भार्यागिरो वेदा यत्र धर्मोऽर्थसाधनम् ।

यत्र स्वप्रतिभा मानं तस्मै श्रीकलये नमः ॥ २८०

Yatra bharyagiro veda yatra dharmo arthasadhanam ।

Yatra svapratibha manam tasmai shrikalaye namah ॥

Salutations to Kaliyuga where wife’s word is Veda,

earning money is Dharma, self-importance is respect.
