अज्ञ्नः सुखमाराध्य सुखतरमाराध्यते सुखतरमाराध्यते विशेषज्ञ्नः ।
ज्ञानलवदुर्विदघ्दं ब्रह्माऽपि नरं नरञ्जयति ॥ ५१

Ajnah sukhamaradhya sukhataramaradhyate visheshajnah |
JnalavadurvidaghdaM brahmaapi naraM ranjayati ||

An illiterate can be pleased easily, a wise man can be pleased even more easily.Even the creator cannot please a stupid man infatuated by his little knowledge

न भूतपूर्वं न कदापि वार्ता हेम्नः कुरंग न कदापि दृष्टः ।
तथापि तृष्णा रघुनन्दनस्य विनाशकाले विपरीतबुद्धिः ॥ ५२

Na bhutapurvam na kadapi varta hemnah kuranga na kadapi drushtah |
Tathapi trushna raghunandanasya vinashakale viparitabuddhih ||

It had not happened before nor had been heard of before. A golden deer had never been seen before. Still, Rama desired it. In times od destruction, one’s judgement over works.

उत्साहो बलवानार्य नास्त्युत्साहात्परं बलम् ।

सोत्साहस्य लोकेषु न किञ्चिदपि दुर्लभम् ॥ ५३

Utsaho balavanarya nastyutsahatparam baram balam |
Sotsahasya lokeshu na kinchidapi durlabham ||

There is nothing stronger than enthusiasm. Nothing in this world is impossible for an enthusiastic person.

किमप्यस्ति स्वभावेन सुन्दरं वाप्यसुन्दरम् ।

यदेव रोचते यस्मै भवेत् तत्तस्य सुन्दरम् ॥ ५४

kimapyasti svabhavena sundaram vapyasundaram |
yadeva rochate yasmai bhavet tattasya sundaram ||


Is whatever that exists in this world beautiful or ugly by its nature? Something only becomes beautiful because someone fancies it,

पुस्तकस्था तु या विद्या, परहस्तगतं धनम् ।
कार्यकाले समुत्पन्ने, न सा विद्या न तद्धनम् ॥ ५५

pustakastha tu ya vidya, parahastagatam dhanam |
karyakale samutpanne, na sa vidya na taddhanam ||

Knowledge remaining in books and money given in the hands of others are useless when time comes for their use.
