अनाहूतः प्रविशति अपॄष्टो बहु भाषते ।

अविश्वस्ते विश्वसिति मूढचेता नराधमः ॥ ७१

anahootah pravishati aprushto bahu bhashate ।

avishvaste vishvasiti moodhacheta naradhamah ॥

A person who enters without invitation  talks too much without being asked and trusts untrustworthy persons is certainly a fool and a low human being.

कमले कमलोत्पत्तिः श्रूयते न च दृश्यते ।
बाले तव मुखाम्बोजे कथमिंदीवरद्वयम्! ॥ ७२

kamale kamalotpattih shruyate na cha drushyate ।
bale tava mukhambhoje kathamindIvaradvayam ॥

The birth of one lotus on another has not been heard or seen.

ईक्षणं द्विगुणं प्रोक्तं भाषणस्येति वेधसा ।

अक्षिणि द्वे मनुष्याणां जिव्हा त्वेकैव निर्मिता ॥ ७३

Ikshanam dvigunam proktam bhashanasyeti vedhasa ।

Akshini dve manushyanam jivha tvekainva nirmita ॥

As per God, seeing is twice important as seeing.

Humans have two eyes and only one tongue.

सद्भिः तु लीलया प्रोक्तं शिलालिखितमक्षरम् ।
असद्भिः शपथेनापि उक्तम् जलेलिखितमक्षरम् ॥ ७४

Sadbhih tu līlayā proktaṃ shilālikhitamakṣharam ।
Asadbhiḥ shapathénāpi  uktam jalé likhitamakṣharam ॥

Even playfully said words from good people are like words written on stone.

Even words said as pledges by bad ones are like words on water.

एषां बाहुबलं नस्ति येषां नास्ति मनोबलम् ।

तेषां चन्द्रबलं देव किं कुर्यादम्बरस्थितम् ॥ ७५

Esham bahubalam nasti esham nasti manobalam ।

Tesham chandrabalam deva kim kuryadambarasthitam ॥
