उत्साह सम्पन्नं अधीर्घसूत्रं क्रियाविधिज्ञं व्यसनेष्वासक्तं |
शूरं कृतज्ञं दृढ़सौह्रदं च लक्ष्मीः स्वयं याति निवासहेतोः || ४६

Utsaah sampannam Adheergha sutram kriya vidhigyam vyasaneshva saktam |
Shuram krutagyam Dhruda Souhrudam cha lakshmeehi svyam yaati nivasa hetoho ||

The goddess Lakshmi (wealth) comes all by herself to stay with a person who is enthusiastic, not lazy, knows how to work, one who is not interested in bad habits, brave, grateful and gratuitous.

जाड्यं धियो हरति सिंचति वाचि सत्यं मानोन्नतिं दिशति पापमपाकरोति |.

चेतः प्रसादयति दिक्षु तनोति कीर्तिं सत्संगतिः कथय किं न करोति पुंसाम् || ४७

Jaddyam dhiyo harati sinchati vachi satyam manonnatim dishati papamapakaroti |

Chetah prasadayati dikshu tanoti kirtim satsangatihi kathay kim na karoti pumsam ||

Good friends make you wise, honest, make one respectable and keeps one away from sins. Makes happy and famous. Good company gives a man everything in life that he could ask for.

नरस्याभरणं रुपं रुपस्याभरणं गुणः ।
गुणस्याभरणं ज्ञानं ज्ञानस्याभरणं क्षमा ॥ ४८

narasyaabharaNam roopam roopasyaabharaNam guNah

guNasyaabharaNam gnyaanam gnyaanasyaabharaNam kshamaa

Beauty is a man’s decoration. Beauty’s ornament is his qualitiy. The ornament of knowledge is forgiveness.

पुण्यस्य फलमिच्छन्ति पुण्यं नेच्छन्ति मानवाः ।

न पापफलमिच्छन्ति पापं कुर्वन्ति यत्नतः ॥ ४९

Punyasya phalamicchanti punyam necchanti manavah |

Na papaphalamicchanti papam kurvanti yatnatah ||

People desire to enjoy the fruits of good deeds, but they not perform good deeds. They do not desire from ill effects of doing sins, but they strive to perform bad deeds.

परोऽपि हितवान्बन्धु: बन्धुरपि अहित: पर: |
अहित: देहज: व्याधि: हितमारण्यमौषधम् || ५०

paro api hitavan bandhu: bandhurapi ahitah parah |
ahitah dehajah vyadhih hitamaranyamaushadham ||

Even a stranger who helps us in difficulties should be considered a relation, a relation who does not help a stranger. Disease in the body is harmful but a herb growing in far away forest can cure the disease
